The Society of Spoken Art is an educational guild that brings established and aspiring rappers together to hone their verbal prowess and master the fundamentals of linguistic and semiotic methodology.
PURPOSE
SOSA fosters connections between established rappers and some of the most well-respected minds in academia. Together, these groups have developed a comprehensive curriculum to provide lyricists with the guidance and resources they need to deepen their linguistic and rhetorical understandings of spoken art.
MINDSET
SOSA’s founding members include some of the most highly esteemed and respected rappers of our day. It is an intensive program and all members will be held to the highest standards of study and craft.
Every SOSA member is expected to abide by the principles embodied by our motto, "Firmitas, Utilitas, Venustas," which translates to "Solid, Useful & Beautiful."
